Patrick and Team Finish Strong in Milwaukee

06.19.11 – Team driver Danica Patrick ended the weekend at The Milwaukee Mile with a strong fifth-place finish to lead Andretti Autosport for the Milwaukee 225.

Team DHL/Sun Drop Citrus Soda driver Mike Conway and Team Venom Energy Drink driver Marco Andretti also worked their way through the IZOD IndyCar Series field, finishing in 12th and 13th place. Ryan Hunter-Reay did not finish due to a single-car incident during the first lap of the race.

In the Mazda Road to Indy program, Star Mazda driver Sage Karam secured his first win of the season. USF2000 drivers Zach Veach and Spencer Pigot also drove strong races, finishing in second and sixth place. Firestone Indy Lights driver Stefan Wilson finished in eighth place.

    Congrads to Danica nice run at Milwaukee. You hung in there and finished strong. The best at Iowa. Only one more oval left.

    When will Andretti catch up with Gennsi and Pensky. I don’t know what makes them always faster but that seems the case.
