4.18.13 (via eFormulaCarNews.com) – The chase for top honors in the 2013 the pro junior formula car ranks in North America is now underway. That being the case, it is time to reveal the first edition of this year's eFormulaCarNews.com Driver Rankings.
Rising talent Matthew Brabham leads the way to begin the 2013 campaign, with the third-generation racer moving up one spot from his final place in the standings spot last season thanks to a points tally of 10,348. The Floridian, who is racing in the Pro Mazda Championship this year, benefits not only from his title-winning effort in last year's USF2000 Championship, but also his a strong start to the season in his Andretti Autosport entry. Brabham, having finished third (997 pts) in the season-opener at the Circuit of The Americas, followed that up with a win (1017 pts) in race two of the Texas doubleheader, before sweeping (1027 pts) the St. Petersburg, Fla., street circuit twin bill. If Brabham keeps the momentum going on the upcoming oval rounds, he is poised to remain at the top of the EFCN Driver Rankings.
